Is a celebrated textile and upholstery pattern by a mid century modernist. Who was a architect. interior designer, furniture designer, industrial designer and textile desiginer.

Translating one of his original drawings, the design features a whimsical, geometric, circuit-like motif that reflects the era's fascination with emerging mid-century electronics.

The pattern remains a staple in twentieth-century textile revivals and is primarily used for seating and decorative accent items.

Transistors Design Origin:

Originally drawn in 1957, it reflects Girard's signature blend of bold geometry and playful abstraction.

Material Composition:

Recreated by Maharam (in collaboration with the Girard Studio), the fabric is typically a heavy-duty upholstery blend, such as 77% wool, 14% nylon, and 9% polyester. Width 145cm sold by the metre.
