In 2016, I initiated Rosebery Fabrics by acquiring a wholesale canvas business that possessed excellent stock but lacked an online presence. To gauge product popularity and identify fast-selling items, I initially ventured into selling the stock on eBay. From the outset, the standout performer was Sunbrella acrylic canvas—a high-performance fabric widely utilized for outdoor awnings, marine/boating Bimini covers, and outdoor cushions.

As our online presence grew, we expanded to offer upholstery Marine vinyl, a sought-after product from the physical shop we were renting at the time. Delving into the origins of the products in the shop, I traced back suppliers to assess ongoing availability and pricing. Feedback from walk-in customers highlighted the challenge of finding comparable high-performance canvases and materials elsewhere.

Motivated by this demand, I established Rosebery Fabrics as a company and developed a website to facilitate global sales. Today, Rosebery Fabrics proudly offers a diverse range of indoor and outdoor upholstery fabrics, Australian-made canvas, Sunbrella canvas fabrics, commercial marine upholstery vinyl, and high-end designer fabrics to customers worldwide.
