Geometri by Verner Panton, 1960

Designed by Danish architect Verner Panton in 1960, Geometri is a celebrated Op-Art textile and carpet pattern. Featuring a rhythmic, repeating motif of black-and-white (or colored) circles and squares, it creates a bold illusion of depth and movement. 

Panton originally created this striking graphic design to envelop the interiors of the Astoria Hotel and Restaurant in Trondheim, Norway, where it covered the floors, walls, and ceilings.
