Checker By Alexander Girard
Alexander Girard designed the Checker textile during his tenure as founding director of the Herman Miller Textile Division (1952 to 1973). Orginally released in 1965 this iconic 20th century textile has been reissued again by Maharam.
Rendered in a stain-resistant blend of cotton and polyester, the reissue replicates archival color combinations, giving all eight versions the same swinging-60’s zing.
